To be human is to be anxious. It isn’t a question of if but in what ways we’re anxious and how we’ll respond to it. In a world of busyness, distraction, and restlessness, it can seem like pastors and church planters have no choice but to live and lead at a frenetic pace. But anxious leadership isn’t a faithful reflection of our present reality in God’s good kingdom; he has a better way.

Vulnerable, accessible, and practical, this workshop for pastors and church planters will explore ways to avoid the unholy hurry that keeps us looking busy and productive yet too often prevents us and our churches from thriving. Unhurried planters (and those who pastor them) will lead more faithfully and their churches will multiply more fruitfully when they learn to let Jesus set the pace.
