Will Torres is the Lead Planter/Pastor of Proclaim Church in Lake Worth, FL.  He and Kristan have been married for 16 years and are parents to their beautiful  2 ½ year old daughter Gloria. They are both transplants to South Florida, Will is from Brooklyn, NY, and Kristan from Texas, but have lived here for the last 23 years and call Palm Beach county home. 

Will served as the associate pastor of Calvary Chapel in Coral Springs for 6 years, and he and Kristan served as Calvary’s youth Pastors 6 years before that. 

In 2017 they felt the call to plant a church in Palm Beach county, so they were sent out by Calvary in 2017, and did a Church Planting residency at Redemption Church in Delray Beach for 16 months.  All the while Will completed his seminary degree with Capital Seminary in spring of 2019. Proclaim launched with a core team in thier home in the fall of 2019.  We connected and fell in love with the Harbor Network in the fall of 2020 as we were looking for a family of churches to belong to. We were introduced by another planter Michael James, who had gone through Harbor’s assessment, who is now an elder at Proclaim.  We instantly felt at home, like we found our tribe at Harbor.  To run with like minded brothers who affirm your call, but are more invested in seeing you be successful in your marriage and family first, then you calling, was so refreshing.  We are so honored and glad to be a part of this network.

We are excited with what the Lord is doing,  as we survived the pandemic, and a few venue changes,  to land in a church home building of our very own. We ask for your continued prayers, for God to give us the grace to continue to raise our daughter in the ways and admonition of the Lord. That we would continue to put our marriage first and grow deeper in love with each other and Him. And lastly pray that God would continue to have us “Proclaim” the Gospel in word and deed in the city of Lake Worth, that we would be part of the larger mission of God to restore Faith, Hope and Love in our community.
